Haley

Haley is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of healthcare experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Washington State University and her Master’s Degree from Texas Woman’s University. Originally from both the Midwest and the Pacific Northwest, Haley has called Austin home since 2018.

Haley began her nursing career at a pediatric hospital in Wisconsin and later volunteered at a birth center in the Rio Grande Valley, which inspired her move to Texas. Drawn to supporting pregnant women and their families, Haley discovered her passion for home-visits through her work at Any Baby Can. Witnessing the impact of health disparities during the pandemic motivated her to pursue graduate studies. While earning her degree, she gained additional experience caring for families and newborns on the postpartum unit at St. David’s North.

Haley brings to Modern Pediatrics extensive experience in home visits and a deep commitment to relationship-based care. She is excited to return to a model of healthcare that allows her to build strong, meaningful connections with families.

Outside of work, Haley enjoys biking around the city in search of the best coffee shops and spending time with her husband and their two fluffy pups.
