Originally hailing from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kedrica is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Kedrica’s career path has led her through diverse medical fields, including cardiothoracic surgery, heart and lung transplantation, and oncology care at institutions like St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK, and most recently at UT Southwestern in Dallas, TX.

Kedrica's passion for healthcare stems from her background as a First-Generation American born to Liberian immigrants, driving her enthusiasm for serving and protecting vulnerable populations. She has participated in national and international medical missions and health initiatives, solidifying her commitment to delivering compassionate and evidence-based care, especially to children and their communities.

Her mission is clear: to ensure every child she cares for reaches their healthiest and happiest self. Joining Modern Pediatrics fills Kedrica with excitement as she looks forward to building strong connections with families and providing exceptional care that promotes optimal health and well-being.

Outside of work, Kedrica enjoys embracing the lively atmosphere of South Austin. Whether she's cooking delicious meals, hosting fun game nights with loved ones, attending concerts, exploring new destinations, delving into a good book, or engaging in conversations with fellow enthusiasts at her favorite places like Costco and H-E-B, Kedrica brings her vibrant energy and love for life everywhere she goes.
