Kelsey

Kelsey is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who has always had a passion for working with children. She is a proud Horned Frog and earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees from Texas Christian University.

Kelsey has over 8 years of experience working with critically ill children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. She began her career at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Ft. Worth, Texas before relocating to Austin and continuing her career at Dell Children’s Medical Center. Her expertise in pediatric critical care allowed her to provide compassionate and personalized care to children and their families during some of their most challenging moments. This sparked her passion for enhancing preventative healthcare for children and inspired her to pursue her Doctorate degree.

Kelsey lives in Austin with her husband, Caten, two young daughters, Reese and Leighton, and their adored goldendoodle, Jax. She loves spending quality time with her friends and family, live music, and college football (Go Frogs!). She is excited to get to know and serve the families of Modern Pediatrics.
