Raquel Goytia

Raquel is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of nursing experience. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University in 2018 and is currently completing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at the University of Texas at Austin.

Her pediatric background is rooted in advanced certifications and a deep commitment to excellence in both neonatal and pediatric intensive care, where she specialized in NICU/PICU transport. Over the past eight years, Raquel has served as a dedicated pediatric nurse practitioner and passionate advocate for her patients and their families. Her experience also extends beyond the U.S.—she has partnered with nurses in Africa and contributed to disaster relief efforts during hurricanes.

Passionate about all aspects of pediatric care, Raquel is especially devoted to empowering parents by offering support, resources, and compassion during critical times.

Raquel lives in Round Rock with her husband, Jessie, and their four dogs—Gambino, Lola, Rebel, and Luna. She loves spending time with her family, traveling, and embracing the occasional adventure. She and Jessie have three adult children and are proud grandparents to their curious, adventurous granddaughter, Leighla. Raquel is excited to bring her dedication and expertise to the families of Modern Pediatrics.
